CATCH WATER WHERE IT DROPS
The Rainwater Reservoir Hopper it has catchment area which is connected with water collecting pipe. This will not interfere with any street light functionality like electric current or lights. The catchment areas with pipe are the additional attachment on the street light. Same construction will be constructed on the top of all the street lights present in the road.
During monsoon, when rain flows on the rainwater catchment area. The rainwater catchment area is in the conical shape with some amount of slope, so all rain drops which flows will be directed towards down to the centre of the catchment area. At the centre of catchment area rainwater collection pipe is connected. From this pipe all rain water will flow down to the main pipe.
In a same way, It is constructed to all street lights of the road, so rain water will collect from each street light and it will reach to the main pipe through rainwater collection pipe. At the end good volume of rain water will be collected through main pipe.
From our proposed solution we can use our saved rainwater in two different ways:

Construct the rainwater storage area
In this method, we are constructing rainwater storage tank be at the either side of the road. By constructing this storage tank, these stored water can be supplied to the people colony, nearby shops, apartments or direct to the houses. So by this way harvested rainwater will supply to the people use.
2. Supply to the groundwater, to maintain groundwater level
Nowadays, people are using more under groundwater in day to day life. So as per our research the under groundwater level is getting reduced due to more use of groundwater. In this second proposal, we can directly supply these collected water to the groundwater recharge well. All the harvested rainwater will supply to the underground and by this way it will help to maintain the groundwater level.
