Rainwater is one of the precious natural water sources for the planet earth. Rainwater harvesting can provide around 50 per cent of a family’s water needs. This not only saves water, but also saves money and reduces our impact on the environment.

India receives 80 per cent of its annual rainfall during the southwest monsoon season of June to September. As per the statically research data many place in India suffers water scarcity.

As per our research currently rainwater harvesting methods are installed for homes and buildings. It is called Roof top rainwater harvesting method. In other way no such proper method to save rainwater from roads and streets. Now a days almost rainwater which falls on the streets and roads are getting mixed with the drainage and supplied to the nearby lakes and rivers. More than 70 percentage of rainwater is getting waste from streets and roads through surface runoff.
